Ezra Norris is a graphic designer, illustrator, and product designer living and working in Brooklyn, NY.

Identity and label design for an Oregon-based vineyard committed to exploring new grape varietals and unlocking the untapped potential of the Willamette Valley.

I partnered closely with the vineyard owner to develop a refined brand identity that appeals to both high-end restaurants and discerning direct buyers. The scope included a custom-designed logomark and a bespoke typeface crafted specifically for use across wine bottles and branded collateral.

We then designed the wine labels, distinguishing between the still and sparkling lines while preserving a cohesive visual identity. Each label features a custom star map depicting the night sky on the exact date the grape varietals were harvested—tying the wine to a specific place and time.

The Farmlink Project | FIELD 2025

Creative direction and graphic design for screen-printed merchandise for The Farmlink Project’s 2025 FIELD Fellowship program.

In my second year collaborating with Farmlink’s communications team, I led the design of the FIELD Fellowship’s annual merchandise, including a screen-printed T-shirt and tote bag. Farmlink is a nonprofit focused on reducing food waste and hunger by connecting surplus produce with food banks and underserved communities. The FIELD Fellowship (Farmlink Innovation, Education, and Leadership Development) places students across the country in immersive, hands-on roles within the food system.

For 2025, we aimed to create a visual identity distinct from the previous year’s, reflecting the unique character of each fellowship cohort. This year’s concept centered on a fruit basket—each fruit representing the individuality of the fellows, brought together in a vibrant, cohesive whole. In contrast to the bold, gritty tone of 2024’s design, the 2025 visuals embraced warmth, optimism, and playfulness to match the spirit of this year’s group.

Ez Eats

Ez Eats is a conceptual project that combines graphic design, illustration, and UX to reimagine how recipes are shared and understood. Instead of relying on traditional text-based formats, it presents recipes as interactive digital experiences—clarifying steps visually to make cooking more intuitive and less intimidating.

Begun in Fall 2021, the project reflects my passion for both design and cooking. Aimed at beginners, the recipes use affordable, accessible ingredients and tools to encourage more people to get into the kitchen. All illustrations are created in Procreate, then animated and prototyped in Adobe XD.

The Farmlink Project | FIELD 2024

Screen-printed T-shirt design for The Farmlink Project’s 2024 FIELD Fellowship, a national program connecting students with farms and institutions working to address food insecurity.

Farmlink is a nonprofit dedicated to reducing food waste and hunger by transporting surplus produce to food banks and communities in need. The FIELD Fellowship (Farmlink Innovation, Education, and Leadership Development) is a nine-month, hands-on program that places fellows on the ground with partner organizations across the country.

I designed a custom T-shirt for the 2024 cohort—given to each fellow upon acceptance as a symbol of their role in Farmlink’s mission and growing community.

UX Design

Digital product redesign of the "Cook" feature in the NYT Cooking app, aimed at improving usability and clarity for home cooks. This concept integrates visual aids, smart timers, and reorganized recipe layouts to streamline the cooking process and build user confidence.
